Alaskan cruise part 2 + full review of American Cruise Lines
In part 2, we visit one of our trip's biggest and oldest glaciers. We stop at Glacier Bay as well as Sawyer Glacier. And, we give you a full review of American Cruise Lines and whether we would take another cruise like this again:

Starlink Internet Problems: Troubleshooting + Starlink Tech Support
Переглядів 79 тис.Рік тому
We installed the Starlink Internet service in May. It worked fine for a couple of months, but recently, it's developed a bad habit of losing connection with the Internet. We've tried every troubleshooting technique we could find without success. Here's what we're doing about this. 00:00 Introduction 01:19 The Problem 02:29 Troubleshooting 04:53 Starlink Tech Support 08:05 The Path Forward Our S...
Cruise to Alaska! Bears, Eagles and Untouched Beauty

To cross a big item off of our bucket list, we took an Alaskan Cruise with American Cruise Lines. A small-ish 164-person cruise was just what we needed to escape the heat of Arizona, and it was our first time in Alaska. Like our Gear? Hi! Nice shots indeed! BTW, towards the end of the video, where you using an app to determine elevation, steps etc.? If so which app was that? Thanks!
Its pretty cool, only if its working. Problem is no support phone number, no chat, i mean seriously??? Red flags!
Ur wife is a realtor,..
WARNING fellow Rv,ers Florida is no longer free. Get caught sleeping and you can get arrested unless you’re in a government desantis approved spot.
Wells terrier rocks!!
😂
So I like Bisbee, plan to visit soon. One thing I noticed I that you like to eat a lot. Try to focus your next video more on the town and less on your culinary skills and your video will Garner much more views.
YES IT IS. In the middle of tropical storm Debbie on Aug 3rd, I lost all my communication with the satellite. After finding out how to get these peoples attention, they are telling me that the cable is bad. I feel that the satellite got water inside or the router went puff. They are sending a new cable that will not get here between the 12-16 , all since that time. Then we will probably find out that the cable was not the case. I did not get this POS from this autistic POS to wait for their delivery desires. Glad I NEVER did or will buy one of his sorry cars. Most people buy these contraptions for critical situations not to use in the comfort of their homes.
Having the same problem right now
Snakes don’t attack. This is just bullshit clickbait.
We’ve had Starlink for over a year and it has been fantastic. Our last provider got to the point of being like dial up of the old days. Except when there is a storm it has been problem free.
I am going through the same EXACT problem currently… So frustrating!
Thanks for this tip
we have a 28’ RBQ Flying Cloud - I was looking to make something to hang on the back of our dinette by our door - there’s a factory magazine rack and fire extinguisher on the back already - I like how easy your solution is and if my wife doesn’t like it - well it was cheap and easy. Happy Travels
I would have like have seen the parts used in the project and where to find them!
but he still hates the rain ???? LoL stay safe, Tim & Cat
Welcome to Wyoming. You must be at Alcova during the week because it is Casper's playground on the weekend . Its a wonder that the "greenies" don't surround you . The greenies are those from Colorado that invade Wyoming on the weekends. They are worse than locusts. they come by the thousands ,bring their city ways and ruin it for everyone around them!
I live off grid and have for 16 years. There is a well, but we still have to hull water. 4 volt 1350 Amp batteries, 2 banks of 48 volts and a back up generator, diesel, 20k amps.
The app is such garbage, under network it says router unreachable. I just got starlink yesterday. Everything is working fine except the app
I put my preorder deposit in for $70 in may 2024 only to find out it was available in my area without being notified and was still able to get the discounted price for the Gen 2 dish at $360. I ended up cancelling my preorder and just placed a new order altogether.
Get a new person to record your videos.
I can’t be in a house or apartment without AC unit or central AC if I were u u can install a Central AC and keep it at 75-77 degrees.
Starlink is a piece garbage! I have had NOTHING but issues with mine since the day I ordered it. They charged me for 4 when i initially ordered it and it took two weeks to get a hold of any customer sevice and it was all through emails. It worked OK for about a week and now it's been offline for days. Think im better off taking it out in the field and putting a shotgun to it🤦🏻♂️ What a waste of time and money and this is my only choice for internet where I live.
We are going this right now…
I'm so happy to read the comments. Starlink is no longer an internet option for me and I will pass along information to anyone considering using their services.
Good information Thank you for the video
I’ve tried this and it didn’t work. Hope it works for you y’all.
Yea I just had support tell me my dish was damaged even though I can see there’s no damage and it’s connected, it’s the router that won’t connect
Try windstream and then get back at me, 3mbs and that’s the max speed you’ll get and you’re stuck with nothing else
You guys totally missed Coupeville and Oak Harbor(Whidbey's largest city). There is a lot to see in those 2 places. Coupeville is a cute town. It's worth a look. In Oak Harbor you have the Flintstone car in Flintstone park.
Welsh Terrier! ❤
Did the new kit fix your issues ?
you need to bypass the router and use a third party router
I saw someone who added vodka to theirs to sterilize
Is there an update to this?
I can imagine what a well will cost. Especially if they have to go 1000 feet or more.
Are you all still doing this? Over the long haul, how is it working out? Did you ever do the test on covering the bikes and restricting airflow into the engine?
Damn planet polluters and their noisy generators.😂😂
Thank you. I previously used paper towels a lot, which I didn't love. I also think the spray bottle method would be good in some situations..
I have my starlink setup and the router has 2 ethernet points on it which I have connected to my computer and the other to my home security system. The reason I went satellite was that my telcos sold the internet connection to a company called Opticomm here in Australia who are complete rubbish as my link was dropping out every two or three minutes over the past six weeks. Now I'm straight to satellite with no middle connection. I paid $599 for the kit and $165 for the roof top bracket kit. I am paying $125 a month which is high but hopefully has a steady and constant connection without any or little dropouts.
Obviously you ended your channel. I just hope you two are ok.
In lamest terms, it’s a mobile hot spot. I worked for cellular providers for several years and it’s nothing more than a mobile hot spot that gives just a bit more hot spot than your typical cell plan, it’s excellent for those who live in rural areas but you need to remember it is only a hot spot and will not compare to having actual internet or cell service.
Today it's 110
No coment
Mine has been far better than the other available options, but not as good as the fibre I had in another location. I haven't had to contact tech support. I do have a gigabit switch that doesn't work well with it so had to take that out of the system, and if there are any power cuts it takes up to 20 mins to reconnect. It can also cut out in very heavy rain. But as I said, faster and cheaper than alternative solutions in my location so call me a happy customer. I have it on a long pole to get above the treeline.
Why don't I see the update video? Geez is this starlink customer service I'm watching LOL
Starlink support sucks. Not having a number to call is insane. The messaging system support ticket BS takes forever. When you’re having a problem, it feels like you’re alone on a rock in the middle of the ocean and nobody gives a shit.
I love that you didnt reshoot this without the dog interruptions hahaha Best starlink review so far!
Soooo you didn’t fix it😵💫
I have the same shirt in red!
Never use bleach in your septic system. It will deteriorate the rubber/silicon seals on the toilet base and dump valves. Over a short time period. You'll find out the hard way.
